Several varieties of both white and red grapes are carefully nurtured in our certified organic vineyard. The wonderfully blended Estate wines are unique and special. Vineyard production is supplemented by grapes from the B.C. Interior. Used for the varietal wines, this supply enables distinct production within coastal B.C.
Entering the first year of production, inspiration is clearly evident. Preliminary tastings indicate that Mistaken Identity will earn early distinction as a quality vineyard and winery.
Abbondante Bianco is our premier estate white. You will find lemon-lime citrus notes in this clean, crisp wine. Soft, cool climate fruits like apple and pear are also prominent in the taste. The nose hints of honeysuckle. This delightful Estate Blend pairs well with Pacific Northwest seafood including crab, shellfish, and grilled fish. It can be enjoyed equally with chicken and pork. We anticipate this wine will be savoured during warm afternoons at our vineyard. accompanied by a plate of local cheese and fresh-baked Salt Spring bread.

These come together with attractive floral and spice aromas and with spicy fruit flavours. The wine has a clean, crisp finish, with a touch of herbs on the dry finish. 87 points." ...John Schreiner, Wine Writer
